We are so excited to invite you into this little piece of paradise, nestled away in the Canterbury countryside. Our retreat is located on the grounds of a beautiful 17th-century Manor House, formerly owned by Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac.

You will have complete freedom to enjoy 19 acres of stunning grounds, including secret gardens, tree-lined fields, and a large pond full of fish and frogs, with small waterfalls at both ends. During your stay, you can indulge in cold water activities and warm up in the incredible Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub!

During our 3-day NOURISH retreat, we want to take you on a journey. We understand that the lead-up to Christmas can be crazy, and we often neglect ourselves. The nights get colder and darker, and before we know it, we feel burned out and frazzled. There was a time when we were attuned to the natural rhythms of autumn and winter, settling into a slower pace of life just as the animals around us still do.

We want to help you step out of your life, take stock, reflect, and reimagine how you want to live your life better. With NOURISH, we invite you to rediscover this way of being - to take time to unwind and restore your being so that, even amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, you can stay connected to the softness within. Our aim is to equip you with practices to remind you of that gentle calm so that, long after the retreat has ended, you can continue to settle into a state of peace and tranquility, wherever you may be.

THE PROGRAMME

Whether you have practiced yoga for years or have never had a regular yoga practice, we offer a variety of movement practices for you to explore. Our fitness sessions also provide an opportunity to try different training styles, from interval sessions to body conditioning and core training.

Our goal with these movement sessions is for you to reconnect with your body and find joy in movement again. We hope to help you appreciate everything your body does for you and renew your passion for taking care of it and loving it even more deeply.

CEREMONIES

We will be inviting you to immerse yourself in the ancient tradition of the cacao ceremony and to experience the euphoric effects of this sacred plant medicine. Let the soothing vibrations of sound healing wash over you and feel your mind and body relax. Take in the beauty of nature with hikes that help you reconnect and ground yourself again.

COLD WATER THERAPY AND BREATH WORK

If you're up for a challenge, try cold water exposure and reap the benefits of this invigorating practice. Afterwards, soak in a luxurious Scandinavian hot tub and let the warm water ease your muscles and soothe your soul.

Fuschia Cottage SOLD OUT

Fuschia is a charming cottage that boasts two cozy bedrooms.

The first bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed or it can be converted into two single beds if needed.

The second bedroom features an adult bunk bed with comfortable full sized beds to ensure you get a restful nights sleep.

Both bedrooms share a fully-equipped kitchen-lounge, where you can relax and drink cups of tea in front of a warm fireplace. The luxury bathroom has everything you need to refresh and rejuvenate.

FAQ:

How do I get to the retreat place?

By car: Less than 2 hours drive from London

By train: The nearest train stations are: Canterbury West & Canterbury East

If you are coming from London, the quickest trains are from King’s Cross St Pancras or Stratford, and takes about 51 minutes to Canterbury West. We recommend a local taxi firm: Green Light Cabs - 01227 722 222. A ride is £15 one way, and takes 10 minutes.

Who can participate?

We welcome solo travellers, couples, friends or family members. All levels of fitness and yoga! Tribe Retreats is for anyone who wants to getaway from the everyday stresses and strains of life. Take the opportunity to step back, relax, move the body, contemplate, learn and re-energise. Eat delicious food. Make new friends!

I have special diatry requirements, is that a problem?
No. Our standard diet is vegetarian/vegan friendly, but if you have special requirements, such as gluten-free, then you can let us know on a form that we will send you during your reservation.
