Join us for an exclusive event full of health, relaxation, gratitude and meaning at the cosiest studio in Central Barcelona. Nourish yourself on a Sunday afternoon with rejuvenating yoga practise, deep relaxation, mindful drinking workshop sipping organic ‘LŌV Kombucha’, mindful walking exercise and a wellness discussion led by an expat psychologist.

We'll start with YIN & YANG Vinyasa Flow - energising & restorative practise that combines the benefits of dynamic and yin yoga.
This will be a powerful part of our yoga practise that combines an awakening and mindful flow from posture to posture. Expect to connect with your core, build strength and release tension at the same time.
Once we reach the floor we'll start our restorative sequence - long and juicy stretches using various props which will allow any tension in our muscles to release.
No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced student, the practise is suitable for everyone. This will be a safe space for you to experience a deep and powerful healing through the practise of yoga. For your final relaxation practise you'll receive a mini massage with the use of natural essential oils.
After our rejuvenating yoga session, we will engage in a mindful drinking session involving LOV Kombucha (www.lovkombucha.com), is vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO drink, it is rich in probiotics — the healthy gut bacteria associated with heart health, lower rates of anxiety and depression, fewer yeast infections, weight management, boosted immunity, and, you guessed it, improved digestive health.
Mindful drinking involves paying full attention to the experience of drinking, both inside and outside the body. We pay attention to the colours, smells, textures, flavours, temperatures, and even the sounds (slurp!) of our beverages. We pay attention to the experience of the body. Where in the body do we feel thirst? Where do we feel satisfaction?
After, we will engage in a Mindful walking which is a way to practice moving without a goal or intention. Mindful walking simply means walking while being aware of each step and of our breath. Mindful walking can release our sorrows and our worries and help bring peace into our body and mind.
Then we will engage in a stimulating discussion led by Bianca Kelly, Psychologist, regarding the challenges of ‘new year's resolutions’ and the pressures we often put on ourselves during this time of the year. Learn skills to help deal with stress and anxiety, to help you overcome the barriers that exist for you to start 2019 with a bang!
About the facilitators:
Lina is trained Ashtanga/ Vinyasa yoga instructor working in various yoga and fitness studios here in Barcelona. She is really passionate about carrying the tradition of yoga and hopefully inspiring someone to live a healthier, more mindful life.
Bianca Kelly has worked as a psychologist for 7 years in Australia and Singapore and currently works as a coach in her own practice in Rambla de Catalunya (La Rambla Expat Therapy). She is passionate about supporting the mental health of ladies in Barcelona by providing Individually tailored innovative solutions to promote positive emotional well-being.
